Almost All Banks Introduced Charges On UPI Transactions
Hello Guys, There is Bad News Coming For All of you that UPI Transactions will not be free anymore like it used to be. All banks are introducing Charges on UPI Transactions one By One. Kotak811 Was the First Bank Who Introduced Charges on UPI Transactions in the Month of February 2020 or March 2020 then other banks also started Charging For UPI Transactions.
In this post, I will let you know How much Transactions are Still Free & What Charges You have to Pay For Each UPI Transaction you do From Phonepe, Amazon Pay, Google Pay, BHIM, or Any other UPI Apps Available in the market including private or Bank Owned Apps. 
These Charges are applicable on P2P transfers which means You will be charged only when you transfer money from One UPI to Another UPI like your friend’s UPI while Merchant transactions are still be free
Kotak Bank UPI Transaction Charges & Free UPI Transaction Count
Kotak Mahindra bank Applied a UPI Transaction Fee on each Transaction After You Cross the Free UPI Limit. According to Kotak bank There will 20 Free UPI Transactions each month & then there will be UPI Transaction fee Upto Rs.5. You will be Charged Rs.2.50 Per Transaction For Transaction below Rs.1000 and Rs.5 for Transaction above Rs.1000. These Fees are applicable from 1st March 2020

Axis Bank Also announced a Transaction Fee on UPI Transactions of Rs.1000 or More once you Cross the Monthly Limit of Free Transactions. According to email Which Axis Customers Received. There will be 20 Free Transactions in a Month Post consuming that Quote Customer will be charged a Transaction Fee on each transaction. Axis Bank Applied these Charges From 3rd May & After that But Some Users also Received the Date increased to June.

HDFC Bank UPI Transaction Charges & Free UPI Transaction Count
Most Recent Notification was From HDFC bank Where All the Customers received a Notification from the bank mentioning UPI Transactions Charges. According to the mail. There will be 20 Transaction Free for a user For P2P Transfers. Post that There be Charges on each Transaction Whether it’s of Rs.1 or More. These Limits Apply From 3rd May 2020 Onward or Some Users Received mail Where date is 2 July.
The charges for P2P fund transfers via UPI are as follows:
